Since 2018 the family and friends of Teddy Daly, and supporters of Breakthrough Cancer Research, have gathered together for one day to climb Slievenamon Mountain in Teddy’s memory. This year the team will climb Carrauntoohill on the 19th September.

We hope that you might be interested in joining us this September, either for the climb of Carrauntoohill on the 19th September, or a virtual event of your own. You could can walk, cycle or run any distance you wish for 2021’s one-day virtual event to remember Teddy Daly and to help us raise vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Orla Dolan, CEO of Breakthrough Cancer Research says, “Noreen and Teddy’s family and friends are an inspiration to us in how they have channeled their grief for the loss of Teddy into the memorial climb on Slievenamon Mountain and Carrantouhill in 2021. The money raised is vital as it helps us to provide world class research into pancreatic cancer. The momentum from events such as the climb provides the drive and impetus for breakthroughs to be made in cancer research and for improvements in treatment to be achieved to benefit all patients across Ireland.”
