HealthTECH World Cancer Day 2020 Cork - An evening of public talks, demos and discussion

HealthTech World Cancer day 2020 (HWCD20) takes place on February 3rd. In conjunction with Breakthrough Cancer Research and Boston Scientific, Tyndall will host an event from 6-9pm on the evening of Feb 3rd, which will showcase exemplars of recent progress as well as emerging healthtech solutions in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Perspectives from clinicians, industry, scientists and patients will be shared during the event, which will include presentations and an interactive panel discussion.

The event is part of an annual pan-European event highlighting the impact of new and emerging health technologies in the fight against cancer. Similar events will take place in 10+ cities across Europe with support from the H2020 NOBEL Project ( for which Tyndall is one of the partners. NOBEL is supporting the creation of an integrated ecosystem within the EU, to accelerate the development and translation of nanomedicine and emerging medical technologies to ensure better clinical outcomes.
